Section 9 Heatmap

Under this menu, you can obtain a global overview of a dataset that relies only on a graphical output

• Image of a dataset based on a color chart
• Rows and/or columns can optionally be reordered based on hierarchical clustering (represented by dendrograms)
• Interactive facilities available for not-so-large datasets (<=800 rows and <=800 columns).

Note that you cannot perform hierarchical clustering on rows (resp. columns) on a dataset with more than 50,000 rows (resp. columns).
